Buy Oxytetracycline Online
Can I get prescription acne antibiotics online?
Oxytetracycline can be prescribed for people needing treatment for a skin infection such as acne. The Online Clinic can issue prescriptions with the medication delivered the next day.
What is Oxytetracycline?
Tetracycline antibiotics such as oxytetracycline are used to treat many different kinds of bacterial infection. Acne is caused by bacteria on the skin, which live on a fatty substance (sebum) produced by the skin's oil-producing glands (sebaceous glands). Substances produced by bacteria cause inflammation of these glands and lead to pimples. Oxytetracycline prevents bacteria from growing and the infected area from getting larger. The bacteria eventually die, the infection clears up, and the pimples disappear.
How to use Oxytetracycline
Oxytetracycline tablets should be swallowed with a glass of water either one hour before your meal or two hours after. This is because food, especially dairy products, may prevent the medicine from being adequately absorbed by your body. Likewise, antacids for relief of heartburn or indigestion can hinder oxytetracycline absorption if taken at the same time. Take oxytetracycline when you are standing or sitting, and not just before you go to bed.
Your doctor will tell you the dose of oxytetracycline that you need, as well as the number of times a day and the number days that you must take it. Generally, for skin infections, one or two tablets are taken each day (either as one or two doses) and treatment may continue for three months or longer.
The tablets comprise a course of treatment and all of them must be taken, even if the pimples disappear. Not taking all the tablets will increase the likelihood of the infection reappearing and the medicine failing to kill the bacteria. If you forget to take a tablet, never take two doses just because you have forgotten one.
Who can use Oxytetracycline?
Oxytetracycline can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over. However, you should not take this medicine if you have an allergy to oxytetracycline or any of its other components. As with many medicines, oxytetracycline should not be used by pregnant women or by women who are planning to become pregnant or breast feeding. Oxytetracycline is not recommended for use in people with poorly functioning liver and kidneys, systemic lupus erythematosus, or myasthenia gravis. It is also inadvisable to take this medicine if you are already taking certain other drugs, such as retinoids, ‘blood thinners’ and ‘water tablets’. Your doctor will advise you as to whether it is safe for you to take oxytetracycline.
Oxytetracycline Side Effects
Oxytetracycline may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite and problems in swallowing. You may have an inflammatory bowel condition (colitis) if diarrhoea is watery and frequent or an inflamed pancreas (pancreatitis) if you have pains in the abdomen. Skin reactions may occur, causing rash and itching, changes to skin colour and feel, and sensitivity to sunlight or ultraviolet light. Oxytetracycline may cause blood disorders and increased pressure in your head (headaches and problems with your eyesight). Treatment may also cause the growth of other organisms that are not killed by the medicine and result in other infections. If any of these conditions occur or are serious or persistent then you should contact us immediately if it was this clinic that issued the prescription. A list of potential side effects can sound scary but please remember that most people do not suffer any side effects whatsoever.
